Doctor
Dr. Mark S. Russo is a board certified
Nephrologist. Dr. Russo has several years experience in private practice
in New Jersey and Naples, Florida, where he founded Naples Nephrology.
Due to his extensive research background, Dr. Russo is a presenter at
medical conferences and conventions and has been published in several medical
journals.
Nephrology Specialty Training Dr. Russo received
his nephrology specialty training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in
Philadelphia, PA.
Board Certified Dr. Russo received his
Board Certification in Nephrology in 2000, and Board Certification in Internal
Medicine in 2000.
Research/Development While
studying to obtain his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the University of Medicine
and Dentistry in New Jersey, Dr. Russo also performed cellular research related
to cancer. He also has performed extensive research in immunobiology at
the University of Pennsylvania and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

completed his residency training and fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University
Hospital, Philadelphia. Dr. Russo has active staff privileges at Naples
Community Hospital, North Collier Hospital and Physicians Regional Hospital.
Publications Dr. Russo has published articles in
the American Journal of Physiology describing the role of cytokines in diabetes
and in Cell biology International Reports describing enzyme activity in cancer
cells.
