MARK S. RUSSO

Mark S Russo MD PhD founded Naples Nephrology in 2001. He is a board certified nephrologist who relocated to Naples after spending time in private practice in New Jersey.
Dr. Russo has a passion for home dialysis as a bridge to kidney transplant. He has interests in those who have difficult to control blood pressure and electrolyte disturbances.
He enjoys teaching interested individuals from all levels including fellows, medical residents, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
Dr. Russo has served as Chairman of Medicine at NCH.

Dr. Russo has published articles in the American Journal of Physiology describing the role of cytokines in diabetes and in Cell biology International Reports describing enzyme activity in cancer cells.
